SAFETY

The studio follows industry best practices for all treatments and services.

At initial consultation, you must use the studio provided consultation forms to disclose to the clinic your medical history, including any medical conditions, pre-existing injuries, infectious diseases, skin conditions, allergies and pregnancy. If health conditions have changed since first completing the forms, you must advise of the changes as soon as possible and absolutely prior to a treatment, to allow for necessary adjustments to be made.

Pleased check contraindications information (available on this website - linked to from applicable treatment pages) before booking.

Equipment sterilisation/disposal is performed for each client usage.

Radio frequency, intense pulsed light and plasma treatments using Universal Medical Aesthetics (UMA) equipment are strictly only performed by an operator with certified training in the use of the specific UMA equipment for the specific treatments performed. For any heat resulting treatments the utmost care is taken to achieve our aim of zero client injury. For any light resulting treatments correct eye protection is always provided and must be worn by clients during their treatment.

Anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injection consultations and treatments are strictly only (as a requirement of law) with an experienced cosmetic nurse who is registered and qualified to do so in Australia.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Due to increased sensitivity and various hormonal changes during pregnancy, there are some treatment contraindications and special precautions for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Check with a doctor on your individual needs prior to booking any treatment. Due to manufacturers instruction treatments using equipment are contraindicated during pregnancy.

COMFORT

If at any time during services discomfort occurs, please alert the aesthetician/operator immediately.
