Waxing Hair Removal Treatments
The classic temporary hair removal method, waxing, done regularly every 4-5 weeks, doesn't result in permanent loss of hair. Great for guys who want to keep their body hair long term, or girls looking for temporary removal only.
There are two types of waxing hair removal treatment we can perform, warm (soft) and hot (hard):
Warm wax applied thinly with a spatula over the skin in the direction of hair growth is then followed by firmly applying a paper strip, adhered to applied wax, which is on the skin and hair. The strip is then ripped against the hair growth, removing wax and hair from the skin. A soothing lotion is applied on the waxed areas of the skin.
Hot wax applied thickly with a spatula on the skin surface adhering to the hair but not to the skin. Hairs sinks into the hot wax as the wax hardens over 10-15 seconds, trapping the hair in its thickening mass. Then the hard wax is stripped off quickly as one piece, taking away hair and follicles from the skin. A soothing lotion is applied to the skin's waxed areas.
The minimum hair length for waxing should be 3-4mm. For comfortable waxing the hair length should be about 1cm.
