CACI Ultimate
The CACI Ultimate system from CACI International, uses electricity at low frequency and with a specific waveform, to recharge the electrical potential of a muscle.
CACI (pronounced 'casey') stands for Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument, and the basis of its technology is the use small electrical currents (microcurrents) at ultra low frequencies and with a specific waveform, that re-educate muscles to their original position by stimulating the spindle cell fibres. Due to its low intensity microcurrent treatment doesn't cause a physical muscle contraction, rather it stimulates muscles by a process called muscle re-education.
In the 1960’s Doctors S. Baker and S. Doyle demonstrated that effective and long term muscle re-education could be achieved using microcurrents (< 1 mA) at ultra low frequencies (< 1 Hertz) to recharge the electrical potential of a muscle by stimulating the spindle cell fibres that run the length of the muscle and attach to the Golgi tendon organ in the belly of the muscle.
Working a muscle from belly outward has a lengthening/relaxing effect which is necessary on muscles that have become contracted over years of facial expression, while working a muscle from the origin and insertion point inward will have a shortening effect which is necessary for the majority of the muscles that have become elongated over time due to age and gravity.
There are several different microcurrent delivery methods provided by the CACI Ultimate system, as detailed below.
Electrode Wands
The primary CACI microcurrent delivery method used for the CACI Face Lift Facial treatments utilises electrode wands. It provides an instant face firming effect and also works on smoothing skin texture.
Enhanced Tissue Repair (lymphatic drainage)
This additional electrode wand microcurrent delivery method uses a different technique for transferring microcurrent to skin tissue, to provide powerful lymphatic drainage. It benefits skin with anti-ageing results seen immediately. It helps to reduce lines and wrinkles, tones and firms skin, improves skin texture, closes pores, reduces eye bags, and helps to heal acne and reduce blemishes. An extremely relaxing treatment.
Wrinkle Comb
This alternative microcurrent delivery method combines red and blue LED photo stimulation with high frequency microcurrent. These technologies help to plump out lines and wrinkles, providing a needle free alternative to collagen injections and dermal fillers.
Hydratone Face Mask
This alternative microcurrent delivery method involves applying an electrically charged mask to bath the whole face with microcurrent. This method is a deeply nourishing treatment that hydrates and tones. It combines microcurrent with a hydro face mask. The hydro face mask is infused with collagen, hyaluronic acid and rose water to tone, deeply nourish and deliver a surge of moisture to the skin that soothes and calms skin redness and irritation. Electro Cellulite Massager
