ProWave LX™ laser/IPL hybrid

This hair removal option uses unique hybrid technology which offers the power of an Alexandrite laser with the ease of Intense Pulse Light (IPL), operating at higher peak power and shorter pulse widths.

ProWave LX targets and heats the hair follicles, disabling future hair growth. It treats the hair in the active growth phase (anagen stage), destroying the pigment in the follicle bulb, which helps to permanently reduce the amount of hair in the area of concern. ProWave LX can treat all hair colours (except white and red), even fine and light hair which has been very difficult to treat with other devices.

The sapphire window provides epidermal cooling and protection, and ProWave LX has two further innovations:

• Due to the custom design, it emits the 680 nm to 1100 nm light wavelengths, which is mostly infrared light and wavelengths recognised as the most versatile for hair removal.

• The output spectrum can be shifted to optimise treatment for each individual, as three distinct programs tailor the wavelength and pulse width to optimise performance and efficacy for each individual.
